Avail: Website design & build for a US nonprofit client

Avail is a New York-based national nonprofit providing free, confidential support for people facing unintended pregnancy or navigating life after an abortion. I designed and built the website in Duda - my first major US client, working with a New York-based organization, and handled all client communication directly. Duda was the client's chosen platform - one I hadn't worked in before - so I learned it to design and build the site myself.

THE BRIEF & RESULT

Avail needed a website that felt calm and trustworthy at a difficult, personal moment - guiding visitors toward one of two support pathways (self-guided resources or one-on-one virtual care) without ever feeling clinical or overwhelming. I designed and built the full site independently in Duda, a platform new to me at the time, managing the client relationship directly throughout. The layout prioritises a soft, warm visual tone and clear, low-pressure navigation — so visitors facing a sensitive decision can find the right support quickly, on their terms. A calm, trust-building site that meets people where they are, built end-to-end - design, platform, and client relationship - by one person.
