I partnered with AVA to build a complete strategic and visual foundation for their NGO consultancy. I led the project end-to-end, from developing the strategy and brand direction to designing the full visual and digital experience. I also managed client communication and collaborated closely with a developer to bring the website and assets to life. The result is a cohesive, modern identity and digital presence that reflects AVA’s grounded, holistic support for NGOs.

Research & insights

Because AVA was a new consultancy with no existing brand or digital presence, the first step was to deeply understand their value and how NGOs perceive trusted partners. Our research centred on what differentiates AVA, how to communicate their mentoring-driven process, and how to define the foundations of a brand built on long-term trust. Key insights revealed that their greatest strengths lie in their holistic, end-to-end support; lived experience inside NGOs; ongoing, relationship-based mentoring; and focus on sustainable impact that continues after a project ends. These findings guided the strategic framework used for the identity and website.

Concept

The logo combines simple, interlocking forms to express AVA’s collaborative approach. Each shape represents a different perspective coming together, reflecting how AVA embeds itself within an NGO’s operations rather than consulting from a distance. The angled form introduces direction and momentum, symbolising progress, alignment, and sustainable growth.

Website and Social Media

I designed AVA’s full digital presence, starting with a clear and intuitive website structure that reflects their hands-on, supportive approach. This included UX wireframes, content layout, and a flexible component system for pages and social assets. The final website brings AVA’s brand to life with warm imagery, clear messaging, and a layout built for clarity. The design focuses on accessibility, trust, and communicating AVA’s real-world understanding of NGO work.
