Happy Egg Co.: Translating a brand & packaging into a digital experience
Happy Egg Co. is a UK free-range egg brand built around hen welfare and farm transparency. Working at tda!, I took an existing brand and packaging system and translated it into a digital experience - designing illustrations to extend the brand's sun-and-farm visual world onto the website, and building a postcode finder to help customers locate stockists. The layout balances playful, illustration-led storytelling with functional content like nutrition information and recipes. The site was built by a separate development team from my designs.

THE CHALLENGE
Happy Egg Co.'s brand and packaging already existed, but it needed to come alive online — translating a physical, shelf-based identity into a digital experience without losing the warmth and personality of the original. I designed the website's UX/UI around the existing brand system, creating illustrations to extend its sun-and-farm visual language into digital-only moments the packaging never had to handle — page transitions, supporting graphics, and a more playful tone throughout. I also designed a postcode finder, helping customers quickly locate where to buy Happy Eggs near them.
